The famously unfinished and neglected Dom Revolucije (House of the Revolution) in Nikšić, Montenegro has been reported by 'The Architects Newspaper' to be slated for demolition. While I have not been able to confirm this report, other news sources from the Montenegro region have been reporting steadily over the last few months that there have been significant troubles and conflicts over the reconstruction and redevelopment efforts of this structure. The structure, which began work in 1978 under the guidance of Slovenian architect Marko Mušič, fell into unfinished disrepair just as Yugoslavia began to be dismantled. While recent attempts and efforts at completing and refurbishing the complex have been attempted, recent news seems to indicate that such efforts are either at a standstill or have fallen apart. https://archpaper.com/2018/07/yugoslav-architecture-faces-demolition/
